"Week 1"

Hey y'all!!

So Arlington is pretty awesome! It's been a pretty good first week
here. However, we've had a typical week one. We had about 4
appointments cancel with all of our investigators, so there was some
walking around and finding going on this week. Elder Wade is a good
kid. He is from Heber City, Utah and has been out for about 10 months.
He was in Waco for a transfer when I was still in Hewitt. He's pretty
quiet and shy, but it should be a good transfer!

So we were able to see a couple people this week. We have some investigators that are part of the RLDS church. They are pretty interested in the differences we have from them. We were able to share
a conference talk the President Monson gave called Obedience brings Blessings. It was really great! One of their hold ups is they don't believe that there is a modern day prophet, and that's why we shared
this video. We were able to have a member there as well. We invited them to go to the mission president fireside yesterday but things didn't work out and they weren't able to go.

We were also able to work with one of the recent converts that was baptized last week. She is 11 years old and is super solid. She was an overage child that got baptized and the family was less active and is
now coming back to church. I'm really excited about working with them!

Those were the 2 really big highlights of the week. I don't have much time today! We got a really busy p day today! We have lots of good things set up for this week though! Love hall and have a great week!
